Hello,
I am trying to midi my Nord piano 2 with my Yamaha P250 but am having no joy, I have tried all the usual changing channels etc. Bit of a stab in the dark but does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thanks

Re: MIDI question
I'm no expert - but recently tinkered with the MIDI menus, as detailed in chapter 7 in the manual. Besides channel number, there's also settings under things like "Control Change Mode"' that may need to be changed on the Nord side to send or receive info -- and you should also look at the Yamaha manual, to see if that unit also needs to be changed to a send or receive mode. Could be more MIDI settings besides channel number, perhaps. Lastly, I noticed under FAQ on this site, under the Stage 2, someone created a MIDI guide. Not sure how applicable it is to the Piano 2, but might have some helpful info.

Re: MIDI question
Not trying to be rude, but it sounds like you're not very familiar with MIDI or the MIDI settings on your keyboards. Tinkering around with MIDI settings at random isn't likely to produce results. For a start, which of your keyboards do you want to control with the other? How have you got them connected? If you can be a bit clearer about what you're trying to achieve, we can help you better.
