just one ep; splitting midi channels?

Postby merc707 » 20 Aug 2016, 12:03

im trying to figure out my np2, first issue, i restored all the original factory settings, that went well.....i can change through all the banks and programs, but when i cycle through the global piano section (to the right of the main section), and like cycle through grand, electric1, electric 2, clav, harps
----
when i go to electric piano2 and try to cycle the different models, it only has "wurly"....and thats it....it's just '1' wurly, no more, all the other ones like harp you can cycle through many different ones...and it doesnt matter if i change the program, like change from bank a1 to a24 whatever, there is just only one wurly program, why is this?

second thing is. why is there 16 midi channels, can you split the keyboard and and have cchannel 1 go to track 1 in my daw and channel 2 the top split part got to channel 2...so i play bass with bottom split part and piano with top.....and record my midi in separate channels....how do i do this? i m trying to use the usb midi

You probably have only one epiano2 sample loaded.
For your 2nd questikn, sorry I do not have NP2, so I am not sure how midi is implemented, but did you look i the manual?
