I don't have a controll pedal but I connected my old Yamaha S30 to my Nord Piano 3 and assigned one of the knobs (on the S30) to midi CC# for controll pedal (11) and it worked very well to adjust amount of tremolo :-)

Hi Kaljo,
That's very interesting !!!!!

Do you think that with a micro midi controler plugged on it, The NP3 could be completed with a knob for the Depth, a pich bend and modulation weel ....????
That would be something ...

Did you connect them by usb or traditional midi plugs ?

Many Thanks

Cheers

I guess you can do the same with a midi controller if you can assign a knob to the midi CC# for controll pedal (11). The midi-led is blinking on my Nord Piano but nothing more happens when I use the pitch-bend or modulation-wheel on my Yamaha S30 so I guess midi pitch-bend is not possible.

Thanks,
I am no good in those MIDI stuff because I use intruments on their own.
Can someone tell us if the pich bend and the modulation weel of an external instrument plugged in MIDI can be used on the NP3 or not ?

Thanks

Pitch bend functionality is not built into NP3. Mod wheel is a function which is meaningless to the NP3 because that cc number is not mapped to any parameters on the instrument.
