Re: Different weight of keys from Nord Piano 2 to Nord Stage
Hi Enrico,
I tend to agree, always thought that despite the fact of being the same Fatar action as basis, the NS2 HA feels stiffer than the NP.
For one thing, the NS2 has aftertouch, which implies a strip detetinc the aftertouch levels applied and thus leads to a much softer bottoming out of a key pressed.
Secondly, Nord applies some weights to each key, I am not sure whether the weights are the same for both models, but there might also be a difference.
Personally, I think that most of the difference comes from the AT strip whcih makes the overall feel when playing different. Also, me personally I prefer the NP action since the "soft" AT feeling seems a bit un-piano like to me, but that's a matter of personal taste.
Anyway, there is not much one can do about it, but exchanging impressions!
Just my 0.02$
Cheers! Johannes

perfect you fully confirmed my feeling. And when I play live with the key of NP2 I'm always good, very relaxing and modular
