I've tried to download sound directly from Nord's dvd but the Nord Sound Manager froze on me everytime. However, if i download sound from Nord's website to my laptop and then load them to my NP, it works just fine. Do I miss something?
BTW, just own NP88 for the couple of weeks now, man I'm fall in love once again

Cannot use Nord Piano Library DVD
I one the NS2-88 and I had the same issue with the DVD's. Upon replacing my NS2 (for a totally different reason) that set of DVDs worked just fine.
So it's probably something with your disc not your computer.

Hello Grasoon,
Welcome to the forums!
You might be experiencing a buffer issue with subsequent process timeout.
You may have success by copying the necessary files from the DVD to a folder on the computer's hard drive since the I/O read time will be greatly reduced.
Then target the copied files instead of the DVD to download to your Nord.

Thank you very much Hanon, I've tried to do what you suggested several times as well however there is a error message said that "Cannot Copy Bright Grand YaS4 Lrg 5.3: Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)”
When transferring files to my computer, I only have problem with Bright Grand file. It stuck for 5 or 6 minutes then the error message appear. I suspect that I have a corrupted file here

Another commonly encountered issue arises from use of factory DVDs: by the time you get the factory DVD it is possible that updates have occurred to the instrument's OS and/or to Nord Sound Manager. It will always be best to use the latest available version of Nord Sound Manager to ensure compatible operation with current instrument OS'.
It's not clear that that is the problem in this case, but it is a common occurrence and something to look for.
