So, after many many posts on this forum about me not being happy with my krk rokit6 g3 and trying to find a solution on how to fix it, I tried a pair of my brothers 22usd headphones (JBL J55i) without any amp or mixer, just the cable with an adapter 1/4 to 3.5mm, and I was very surprised, first time I felt I got what I was paying for when playing my np2.
All the pianos I've tried with the headphones sound really good, of course I can notice it's not a high end headphone, duh, but still, with the KRKs I had to EQ the pianos to make them sound 'decent'.
Really happy the problem was on my monitors and not the Nord.
Looking into getting a pair of Beyerdynamic dt990 pro 250 ohm with fiio e10k. I know I need an amp for the 250ohm version, but I don't wanna spend as much as the headphones for the amp, the fiio is 75usd atm.
Maybe if you guys know about a better amp for those headphones around 70-120usd price range, i'd love to hear your suggestions!
Have a good one!

Why not buy the 80ohm version? Then you don't need an amp. Or do I miss something here?

Hi, there is no 80ohm version, there's 32, 250 and 600 ohm. I read it would be better If i bought the 250/600ohm version with an amp, correct me if im wrong here.

Hi, I got the Sennheiser HD 598 on my piano2. The impedance is 50 ohm and the volume level is set at 12 o'clock. They sound gorgeous on a good day. They are quite analytical and therefore good for learning. However *****ANY***** headphone in that price range will make your Nord Piano sound super great.

Before investing in FioO E10K please read this review:
http://www.headfonia.com/fiio-e10k-classic-reborn/2/
A short quote from the review:
"Of course I don’t advise using this for your 300 ohm Sennheisers or 250 Ohm Beyers but it does work. Same goes for your orthodynamic headphones actually. While it has more than enough power to drive the Audeze LCD-XC, you won’t get it to sound great. The E10K was made for the easier to drive headphones and in my opinion this new unit is even more versatile than the old one was."
***END quote.
BY THE WAY, PLEASE notice that this headphone amp is also a DAC, it only has USB-input and no analog line input, so it won't work at all with the Nord. But never mind, at 75 USD it will be a fairly cheap mistake.
MANY good people on this forum have advised you on witch headphones to choose. Is there anything wrong with their suggestions ?
The very best wishes for you and your Nord piano. May you have many happy years together!

Well first of all, thanks for the replay. And yes, indeed, people recommended me many headphones, but choosing a headphone is still a hard choice, specially when you can't try them all. I'd say my main problem at the moment is finding a good amp for the headphone that isn't too expensive.

Oops. There is a 80ohm DT770, so I thought there would be a 80ohm DT990 as well.
