Hi,
I am programing new patch, and I want my the patch will react to the velocity of the keys I play. (output level)
so first I pressed on velocity (morph) button - the green led is on. Then I turned the nob of output level (the green led is on) to different values but without any response. what am I doing wrong?
Thanks

Re: Velocity Nord lead 4R
Press Shift+Amp Vel button (in the filter section).
(Velocity morph on the output level works too, [but exactly that specific morph source and destination work a bit different than the rest, I described that in another thead some time ago])

Re: Velocity Nord lead 4R
I had try the Shift+Amp Vel button before (the green led was on) but it did not work. (maybe settings?)
If I'm going the way of (Shift+Amp Vel), How can I control the amount of sensitivity for velocity ?
And why when I tried to do that with the velocity morph it didn't work? (as I explained in my first message).

Re: Velocity Nord lead 4R
Hmm.. the led for Amp vel button is red usually
That function is not tied to the velocity morphs which you set with the button on the left side (and that led is green)
Does any velocity function work? Filter Env Amount? If it doesn't it might be more likely that your keyboard does not send velocity or something like that?

Re: Velocity Nord lead 4R
Yes it is red
I just tried that again.
Red light is on, my Daw send velocity (I can see the numeric values).
I can hear the velocity change, but I would say that there is really small different between really high velocity and low velocity signals.
Can I not change the amount of sensitivity? at the moment It seems to be really low.

Re: Velocity Nord lead 4R
Make sure you're on firmware 1.30 (there was an update on velocity scaling).
I don't think you can change it.
I think it is very good for live playing, and combining filter and amp vel allows expressive play, further enhanced by the possibility of morphs. If sensitivity is too high, single notes can peak out unintentionally while playing.
If you want to change volume more drastically, it might be better to automate or 'mod wheel morph' output level.
