Re: Top Effect Pedals for Nord Lead!
I already had a Lexicon MX400 rack unit. It is effectively two MX200's in one box and when daisy chained runs 4 stereo effects in series or two 2's parallel. I use it for chorus, delay and reverbs mostly. Runs 24 bit 48KHz so sounds good. Always available on Fleabay for low prices

Re: Top Effect Pedals for Nord Lead!
To add to the discussion, I just got a Vintage Vibe 64 Active Electric Piano and decided to get a bunch of effect pedals.
In all, I liked the Zoom MS-100BT to have the best price /performance, but the H9 is Very good unit, highly tweakable and easy to use.
If I had all the money, I'd buy 3 H9 because they can only do one thing at a time. So one for reverb, one for delays and one for other things.
BUT if money ain't available, I'd buy a single Zoom MS 100 bt. It can run several effects at one and you can step through programs. It is also very quiet and transparent. Very high quality for the price. Only thing missing would be midi, but I believe not everybody would need that.

I've been using the Mooer Re-Echo pro with my Nord Lead 2X. Sounds great, true stereo, fun to use, and cheap as chips.

Re: Top Effect Pedals for Nord Lead!
Hi,
My NL2X (Rack) is connected to a TC-Electronics Hall Of Fame (Reverb Pedal) http://www.tcelectronic.com/hall-of-fame-reverb/, I use it mostly to add spatial /room ambience to the NL2X Master Output, which adds depth, and provide me with a wider sounding stereo panorama to the mix. I also use it for making Epic sounding Pad sounds, for ambient, or other types of musical applications.
Its super fast to tweak to taste. and quite affordable compared to other options.
I also have a Strymon BigSky, which I use on the NL2X and my other Synths. depending on the sound/s I need. The BigSky is an awesome sounding effects unit. A bit pricy, but surely worth having in the studio.
Cheers,
