I like your gear list, although you forgot the screw driver and the solder iron :D
(Missing the NE2 61/73 and dDrum...)

What you mentioned is very important to the NordLead, simple because it shows Clavia (Nord) produces musical instruments for the performing artist, live on stage rather than working in the recording studio. The sound change using the Slot buttons is the reason why Performances were implemented into the synth. Clavia itself is rather obscure by delivering layers in Performance mode, okay, also a possibility, but I believe this mode is designed to use Slot button changes on the fly. The organ sounds are in the right place, of course, so are the Prophet V (and the backup for locations 1-40) sounds.

Which brings me to another strange thing about the Lead, special the Lead1. When it is a performance synthesizer, why is it impossible to save Performances without a PCMCIA card installed? Probably because memory was rather expansive at the time. Still using Performance mode and Slot Program change the Lead is capable of saving 400 single Programs, including the extra’s like bend range and Unison.
