Is it worth me getting a PCMICIA card (even if its expensive) and if I get one can I edit and save performance / layered sounds? I would like to be able to do this. Also is the VST editor Rekon Audio worth picking up. Does it allow easy automaion recording etc?
Thoughts and guidance please?
Cheers
Gez

Re: Nord Rack 2 PCMCIA Card / VST Editor ?
get an NR2X -- you can avoid the ancient technology (and expensive price) of the card and get HUGE amounts of onboard memory for both programs and performances
but yes, if you have a compatible PCMCIA card you will be able to store programs and performances to it. Note that these cards are battery-backed, and very old. I think they take CR2032. Good idea to slap a fresh battery in it before anything else.
Bless,
Pablo

Thanks Pablo. I have only just got the NR2 so I will stick with it for now. Has a slightly different sound to the NRx2 but I get what you are saying. Cheers
