Nord Lead A1 uneven keys
Hello guys!I just purchased a Nord Lead A1 and i am really excited about the sounds and the whole feeling of the keyboard! But i noticed that a lot of the keys are uneven and i wanted to ask, is it normal or it is damaged during transportation? Keyboard works perfectly but it seems really strange to me to see uneven keys on a new keyboard.

Re: Nord Lead A1 uneven keys
Hej!
Yes, the keys ... Clavia seems to have selected the less expensive versions from Fatar. Sadly. None of my three Leads are totally perfect when it comes to the keys. Guess you have to live with that ... I apologize on behalf of Swedish industry.

Re: Nord Lead A1 uneven keys
When i got my first Lead 4, i had to send it back as two of the keys kind of rubbed on each other and squeaked a little. It did not affect the playability of the keyboard at all as it worked perfectly fine, but it did bother me and i believed it was worth sending back given the premium of these boards. My replacement did not have the problem at all but yes, the keys are not of the best quality, which is a shame as some $600 keyboards (Novation Ultranova) had amazingly solid keybeds. If you believe the keys are affecting the playability, then don't be ashamed of returning it for hopefully a better board....it's your right as a consumer to be satisfied with your purchase...but chances are, the replacement board will be the same.

Ok guys thank you for your answers!I just wanted to know that this is common and my keyboard didn't get this ''problem'' during transportation! It doesn't affect my playability so i will live with it!I only think that it is a shame for such a big keyboard company (maybe the best for my taste! ) to have these issues.Anyway thanks again for your answers!
