Hi MasterVe,

Congratulations on your NL A1r , and :welcome: to the Nord User Forum.

Oh... cool, and smart way you have the A1r setup in your studio. Easy and fast access to the knobs ;)

Cheers,

Congratulations, the A1 is beautiful. You have pretty much the studio set up I'm trying to build. I have the Qu-16 and the A1 so far.

AWESOME mixer! Though I'll confess that I recently sold off my QU-16, replacing it with QU-PAC for more compact rackability and twice as many channel inputs, more busses, etc.

I love the Qu-16. It has changed my workflow and really fueled our creativity with all instruments routed and ready to record. I went for the Qu-16 over the Qu-Pac so I could have faders :)
The Qu-24 is really a better bargain but I just couldn't spare the extra money or space.

@ MasterVe- I always thought the Sub 37 would pair perfectly with the A1, but I'm wondering what do you think about it?

I just love that you can creat bass lead arp another bass
And so on with different effect the quick work flow that
The nord lead A1 has keeps the creativeness going
As for the Moog sub 37 goes it's just not for me love the fat juicy sound of the Moog
Sub 37 I might even regret selling it but for me to be honest the nord tempest
And Roland as my midi controller I think I'm happy with the setup

I've got both the A1 and the Sub37 and they make a very nice pair. I do a lot of cover stuff so between the two there is little I can't reproduce. They are just different tools for the job.

Cool set-up!! I'm curious if the Nord A1 compliments the Tempest or do the two have any redundancies? The Tempest has been on my radar lately however as an owner of both an A1 and Nord Drum 2 I'm concerned that their palettes might sound too much alike. I'm definitely a fan of the Linn sequencer on the Tempest

Cheers!
