My Nord Lead A1 is about 2 years old, and it has a problem with the pitch stick. Pushing to the left, the note drops the full amount in a short bit of travel, and then stays at the lower note for the rest of the travel. It also is unstable in the range just to the left of the middle--if moved slowly, the pitch warbles. Pushing to the right seems to be fine.
I suspect I will need to take this in for service, but I wanted to see if there might happen to be anything I can try before I set up the repair.
Also, if anyone knows a good shop near Santa Cruz, California, I would like to know that. So far I found Third Ear Sound in Hayward which looks good, just a little bit far away.
Thanks for any info you might have!

Re: Nord Lead A1 pitch stick issue
The pitch stick is not really a serviceable part; needs to be swapped completely. Any competent electronics tech can handle that job. Third Ear is nearest to you, but if you can find someone nearer whose skills and experience you can trust, no reason to make the further drive. Perhaps some of your local musos can recommend someone.
