Nord Lead A1 headphone volume issue with unison

Hello

I've just bought my first synth being a Nord Lead A1. But i got a issue with the output volume using certain features.

I'm currently using headphone jacks since i don't have a amplifier or speakers. In the process rebuilding the house. I'm using a 1/4" TRS stereo jack adapter and my headphones have 3.5mm TRS jack.

The following effects cause a loud increase in the volume,

• Unison going from 0 to 1
• Ping Pong, Delay(normal delay is fine)
• Any Reverb

The ping pong do not sound quite right either, neither does the output pan.

Is it the Synth that is something wrong with, or pherhaps my adapter. Or have i've miss understood something about the output jacks on the Nord.

If i plug the adatper into line out 1, every thing works with correct output volume except ofc. obious stuff like Delay Ping Pong and pan, since line out 1 is left mono only.

I'll try and get a new 1/4" adapter for starters, being unable to test the one i have on any other equipment. The headphones works fine in stereo on the PC so those are not the issue.

Update: its all working now. Got no clue what I did different. I think it might be the adapter that's poor quality.

thanks for the followup post -- yes, poor quality headphone adapters commonly cause many complaints
