NL4 saw lead
just recently acquired a NL4 and am loving it. But was wondering if anybody could tell me how to create a massive saw lead, all the ones preprogrammed in seem kind of weak in comparison to synthesisers I've played. Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: NL4 saw lead
when you first initialize a patch, that sets the filter cutoff to 50% so don't forget to open that up when you start. it can really mute those saws unexpectedly. I'd start off with both osc 1&2 set to saw and I generally detune ocs2 by 3 cents for some motion. after that you can start tapping that unisyn button to fatten things up. if that's not enough don't forget it's got 4 parts. copy that patch a few times and and spread out the octaves. it's gonna get thick on you for sure! hope that helps.
