Today I found this on the Tube. Was posted yesterday.
Awesome skills on the NL2X.
Back before I had a VCS3 I found that my Nord Lead 2x could make some pretty convincing modular sounds.
The Mod Envelope and 2 LFO's can be routed to some interesting places and, he Amplifier has an incredibly long release time allows you just to play a note and noodle. Being that you are in a slow release the whole the sound slowly evolves even if you don't touch anything.
I added some annotations to show how the patch is changing the oscillators and some of the choices I made along the way to keep the modular vibe going as long as I could. I hope you can use some of these ideas!

NE3HP, NP88, NS2, DPP1, NL2X, NL2X, NLA1, NL4, NE5D, NW2 (Collect Them All?), some classic Rolands, Arturias, a Waldorf, a Kurz, a WONOK3, a pile of guitars, a P-bass, loopers, amps and computers ... I'm a gearslut!
NL2 has a lot of tricks hidden up its sleeve. You can also set the amp and filter envelope to trigger from different MIDI channels if you want to get real fancy.
