Hello,
Anybody knows two good programs for A1 for playing cover-songs with my band:
1. a good piano-like or electric piano program;
2. a program to play (as close as possible) classic strings (chords)?
Best regards,
cristian

Hi Criss,
As I recall Kroffe has recently posted some electric piano program(s) for A1, or was it Marlowes? A search should pull this up.
However, you should brace yourself for some level of disappointment. The A1 does some things really well, but pianos and classic strings are not going to be high on that list.
Bless,
Pablo

Pablo is right... but if you're looking for synth style EP or a synth string pad, I bet you could pull it together with a couple of performances. Good enough to work in a live band situation for sure. But if you're looking for realism... better get a ROMpler.
Cheers!

Thank you both! I'm not looking for realism (because I know it's not possible in this case) but I would be happy to know your opinion regarding the "best" programs available to "emulate" (close as possible) an EP or "classical-synth-strings". Momentary I have installed the original programs and the two Kroffe bundle programs. I already found some nice B3 programs.

Glad to hear you like my sounds.
Here's a compilation of some piano programs I made (some not released before).

Re: good piano & strings for A1?
Here's a piano performance patch based on kroffe's clavinet. If you engage slot D there is a simple string accompaniment. The low register doesn't sound great, this patch could use some improvements. I'll keep at it. Anyone want to make it better? It would be great to create the ultimate A1 piano patch.

Haha, great Marlowes!
But I must say that the two Clavinet sounds are not supposed to be played that way.
They are modeled after the Clavinet sound in the Nord Electro 4 and if I remember correctly should sound about similar.
I should get some time to make some proper mp3s on how I have intended them to be played.
