In Nord Lead 2X:
when I change a parameter of a part for example part D, also change this same parameter in part B and/or C.
If I select "C.off" function in SHIFT+PROGRAM CONTROL the problem solve (the function I suppose is Control Change) now I can control each part A, B, C, D independently, but I can't make an automation.
If I select "C.on" when I want to record a control change to make an automation in the Daw,the parameter change affect 2 or more parts.
Is the unit broke or it is normal?

Re: control change problem
Do you have the four parts each set to their own MIDI channel?
Also have a look at this post I made a while back: post5445.html?hilit=2x#p5445
You might need to read it a few times to understand it though
The easiest way to use it from a DAW (and the most flexible I think) is to set up each part with its own MIDI channel. Then send MIDI data from the DAW to the correct MIDI channel for the different parts. If you assign multiple parts to the same channel, you're effectively layering parts/sounds, which is partly the topic of the post I linked above.

Re: control change problem
Does CuBase still has its MidiFilter?
Set MidiThrough to enabled (= Midi data Through is filtered out)

Re: control change problem
I look for it but I didn't find this function. Do you know in which menu is it?
Thank you very much.

Re: control change problem
I don't use a DAW anymore...
My CuBase version was V1.1
Surely you have a Manual of CuBase.
Anyway, there is a kind of Midi loop. There is a strange answer, which like witchcraft sometimes helps...
On the NordLead go to Midi Global [press Shift+2xMidi] and set all Slots to channel 16.
If it works don't ask why! Just pay me

Re: control change problem
I spoke with steinberg support and they doesn't know. I saw Midi Global (pressing shift+2xMidi) the channel was 16.
The news I have is: if I have active the part D in the clavia, and I have selected in cubase the track 2 belong with part B, in spite of is active the part D, the part B changes too. So if I want to change only one slot is that you select this slots track in cubase and change the parameter. Is it a cubase function or clavia function? I worked with other synths and when you select a part in the synth is enough, it is not necesary to select the track in cubase, and now with clavia...
Thank you very much.

Five years later, this is the only answer that solved my problem! (for Nord Rack 2X responding to Midi CC messages)
