i like your setup, but for now my music practice will be limited to evening sofa sessions ( no stand!) when the toddler is asleep. I'll need to wait a while before I gain the space for a music room/area. so two keyboards is not an option right now. would the a1 be a good fit in order to recreate the sound style of wendy Carlos' kubrick soundtracks? i admit it's a new world for me and i would imagine the electro would be able to pull it off somehow albeit using samples

I really don't know her well, but I guess she used a lot of modulation on her modular synths. You could reach the limits of the A1 on that quite easily, but basically those old school sounds are exactly the strenght of the A1.
