A1 encoder values

Postby synthfiend » 16 Sep 2017, 09:07

newby here to A1
Wondering how you determine the pre-existing values for different parameters. Once you start to turn the knob it just shows you the physical position of the knob.
For example if I wanted to reverse engineer a patch how do I work out the values for different parameters eg DRIVE
Nord A1 Keyboard
Virus TI Polar
Elektron Analog Rytm
Elektron Digitakt
Make Noise 0-coast
Squarp Pyramid

You can do that by reading the A1 manual, page 17 and learning that...

Monitor
You can use this feature to monitor the value of a setting in the display, by holding this button and turning a knob.
