Yes, I enjoyed it. And as many forum readers already know, I'm a rabid fan of the NLA1.

But I also understand that many of my friends, from both IRL and on the Net, would fall asleep with it since it is not a modular or a Kyma Pacarana.
A lot depends of course on where you position yourself music-wise, your preferences and so on ...

I agree with you - I just got my A1r and I'm amazed at how good it sounds - rich, deep, warm, clear.... and the stacking is fantastic - they Really have done an incredible job.

great review, thanks! as a fan of the nl2 i'd love to try one myself soon. although actually I'm trying to fina a NL1, the one with the funky cut-off corners. would you believe they are about 20 years old now...
