Thanks Chvad for the very useful hints ... but earlier I got some SuperSaw instructions for the NLA1 from Kroffe, so I name this patch after him.

Recipe, short version
Osc 1 Saw
Osc 2 Saw, Fine Tune -12
Mix 50%
Amp Env 0 - 10 - 10 - 3.5
KB Track 2/3
LP24, Freq 6.0, Res 5.0 (tweak them while you play?)
Reverb Stage 2, Dry/Wet 4.0
Unison 3
Vibrato to wheel
For performance: stack 3x, -1 & 0 & +1 octaves

I'm not sure if it is possible on the Lead 4, but if you could modulate the waveshape of the saw (like the Lead A1 does) with a LFO you could "technically" obtain the same effect that two detune OSC have together.

Theoretically it's possible to obtain something similar sounding on the NL4 by using oscillator-sync and modulating that with a moderate fast LFO.
