Can I midi the Krome to the Nord for sustain without enabling program change?
In other words my Krome is master Nord is the slave but want the sounds of Nord and sustain only
Nothing else?
Can it be done I'm not an expert with all midi applications

Re: Using Korg Krome with Electro 5
I am not sure if I understand your question. I have sometimes connected an external MIDI controller to the traditional MIDI IN jack on my Nord Electro 3, and I got the Nord Electro to produce the expected sounds by pressing keys on the external MIDI controller. I do not recall whether I tested use of a sustain pedal which was connected to the external MIDI controller, but I think the sustain pedal would work.
I don't send any program change commands via MIDI, so I cannot comment on that.

Please let's refrain from "bumping" threads. If there are not replies to your question, please accept that people might not know the answer.
I do not have a NE5, but have you checked in the manual and in the settings/MIDI menus if you can switch off PrgChn? What about using a MIDI filter? Or MIDI-OX (PC) or similar and filter those messages? Maybe use some MIDI processing box?
Also you might have more luck in the Korg forums, maybe somebody has exactly the same setup as you do.
