Hello, I am a professional musician from Scotland, and I use a Nord Electro 3. I will be moving to Boston, USA to study in September for a year, and I wondered whether or not there could be a long term damage issue with me using a UK Nord power cable with US power socket converter adapter? Would it be advisable to just purchase a US Nord power cable? I have had issues with the reverse situation in the past, i.e. US electronic products becoming damaged when used back home in UK. Just wanted to check if there could be an issue or not?

Hello Hamish,
Welcome to the forum!
It's more than just a cord.
The UK NE3 wants a 220 volt power source to function properly.
Most outlets here in the states deliver 110 to 130 volts.
There are travel converters available that step the voltage up to the proper level for your instrument:

The best solution would be to contact Nord Technical assistance and ask what they recommend doing, this way your warranty would remain valid and intact..
The link for Nord is:
