Hi, I need a little help with a special sound for my electro5d.
I am looking for the sound of - I think - a Yamaha S90 used by Paul Carrack (e.g. How Long)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gahUbXoUhEc
Perhaps one of you has an idea to help me - thanks a lot!

Hi Thomas, that's not an S90 (trust me, I would know) but a CP5. He plays a Rhodes sound through a chorus effect, shouldn't be too hard to replicate.

I would try the Nefertiti with a bit of chorus1 and layer it with a strings pad. On my NS2 I can assign a volumepedal to bring in the pad whenever I want. Not sure about NE5 but since it's the first electro that can actually layer sounds, it should be possible to bring in the strings with a dedicated knob (perhaps 'part mix'?).

On NE5, either use the Part mix knob on the front panel, or enable Control pedal on the sample part (upper or lower) to use a control pedal for strings volume control.

Re: SOUND FOR HOW LONG - PAUL CARRACK
I have an NS3 and use the following when playing live:
EPiano 2 Mk I
Keyboard touch set at 2 (this may just be an NS3 setting)
Tremolo: Rate 4.5, Amount 2.8
EQ: Treble +5.8, Mid -9.8 @ 470Hz, Bass -6.8
Reverb: Room 2, Amount 3.0
Sits clean in the mix, has a nice, soft attack, and holding the notes provides a nice fill behind the guitar solo (we only have one guitarist). Also keeps the left hand from competing with the Bass.
