I think one of the better features on the Electro 2 and now 3 is being able to use the sustain pedal to control the leslie
speed when in Organ mode. It basically eliminates the need to carry 1 more pedal. I've been doing it like that for
over 8 years if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I always forget to use that feature.
Although there have been some occasions in the past when using a little sustain with the organ to do slides.

Re: Pedal choice Nord electro 3
One little question, I followed the advice you all gave me, so I have looked for another pedal, I found this:
I want to use a Boss FS-5U for Rotary speed switch, but is that possible? will it work?
And thought of a yamaha FC4 as sustain pedal, is that possible? and will it work too?
Thanks

Hello DvBuggenum,
yes, they will work.
Cheers, Hanon
Everything will be all right in the end. If it's not all right, then it's not the end.

Re: Pedal choice Nord electro 3
The Boss Fs-5U is a good pedal for this keyboard and any keyboard that uses a tip/sleeve connection and not a TRS connection.
I use one with the electro 3 regularly and even though small it doesnt flip around like a lot of smaller pedals. It also has a slight rise in the shape of the pedal so it looks, acts, feels more like a sustain pedal. Just use a regular 1/4 inch cable with it.
