Pad Sound into Piano Library?

Postby BjoernGruen » 23 Dec 2016, 22:27

Hi everbody!

I own a NE5D. A Synth Sound into Piano Library? I know this is not possible in the normal way. But I want to split the NE5D and play a Synth Library sound with the right hand and a Pad sound with the left hand (different Synth sound left and right). When I use the Synth in the right hand, I can use Organ or Piano in the left, but not Synth. Is there any "workaround" or something, that I can realize that? Has anybody maybe created a Pad or Synth sound with the ending .npno?

Sorry for my English...

Best, Bjoern

Nobody outside of Clavia can create .npno sounds.

The workaround is to build a single .nsmp that has the one sound to the left of the keyboard, and the other to the right.

Thank you! And I can do this with the Nord Sample Editor, right?

Yes but you meed to resample the 2 .nsmp sounds yourself, because in the NSE you cannot load/split existing .nsmp but only create new ones starting from .wav files.

.. which is completely non-acceptable IMHO. When I detected this first I was really disappointed.
