Guess I have to eat my words.Rusty Mike wrote:The E5 is selling very well at the moment. Even if an E6 was ready, Nord does not have a lot of incentive to introduce.
Of course, I could be totally wrong.
I would not have seen that coming. Interesting set of feature additions - these add a lot of value. Also interesting that they kept the piano memory at 1GB, I guess partially to keep the Electro a step below the Stage.

The Electro 5 is bi-timbral.shark wrote:Multi-timbral. That's it, all other Electros are trash.

Re: Nord Electro 6?
The seamless transitions is the one thing I really miss on the 5D.
Basically just to change drawbar presets without cut of sound in Playlist mode.
Hardly worth the dough to change for unfortunately...

Don't worth upgrading only for that.

Re: Nord Electro 6?
Haven't seen any info about the "price tag". And I wish for NORD that they have tested this keyboard more carefully than the Stage 3 - maybe the Electro 6 benefits from the experiences with all the bugs of the Stage 3 and as it has no Mod-wheel...
