Now that Nord Electro 6 series arrive , do you think that there will be an important price drop on Nord Electro 5 soon? Anyone remembers how much was the price drop on Nord Electro 4 for example , when the 5 version released?

I'd say the amount of any price drop will depend on how much the Electro 6 will sell for, how soon it will ship, and how many Electro 5s they need to move out between now and then.

I suspect it may be like the NS2EX soon after the NS3 was on the market. Good deals could be had (though I don't think they lowered MAP), plus Nord offered a $500 rebate towards the end. I was able to snag a NS2 EX Compact for hundreds less than the NE5 73 using this approach.

I can only remember the pricing of the 61 key versions: At the time the NE4 61 was launched, its price was at 1599 € and the NE3 61 dropped down at 1199 €. I bought my first nord then, it was end of 2012. When the NE5 61 came - I think it started at 1699 € - the NE4 61 dropped at 1199, about three years ago. I don't think there is much space for increased price levels, because I guess that even a NE6 73 needs to remain under 2000 €. Could well happen that in March or April, short time before German music fair, the NE5 stocks will be cleared again around 1200 €. Personal gut feel.

The NE6 will be more expensive than the NE5 that you can bank on. Not sure the NE5 will lose much value IMHO.

Thomann has the 6HP at the same level as the 5HP.
D models has around 100 EUR difference between 5 and 6.
