Just wanted to share something I found out....Using both the USB Midi port and the Midi in/out jacks, every note's velocity is 105. Unplug the USB, and the velocity is normal. I have my electro 3 connected to a laptop via USB, so that I can access the Sound Manager and Sample Library programs. And the midi in/out is connected to another computer (my recording rig). So when I want to record something, apparently I have to unplug the USB cable from the nord. This took a little bit of troubleshooting to figure out why I was getting the constant velocity of 105.
Is there anyway this could be fixed so that I can have both the USB and midi In/out at the same time?

Hello jrox1,
Welcome to the forums.
I have run that same setup without problems.
Have you tried it with just the laptop on battery power (no ac adapter)?
I would contact Nord at the following link:
