Ep5 Set list
Hey all, does anyone know if there is a way to bounce quickly from Set list mode to program mode, while staying on the same program that you were using in set list mode? I ask this because while in Set List mode, it's not possible to edit the programs; it's only possible to edit the actual "set list" itself. Last night I was on a gig, trying to create a unique set list for sounds customized to the room I was playing. When I would get out of set list mode, it would just bounce me to some random program I had been using last (not the program I was playing in Set List). I want to be able to make that program edit right there, without having to go searching through all my programs. Seems there should be a way to do this. Does it have to do with the "live" buttons? Any help would be appreciated.

You can edit programs from within Set List mode, after you've made your edits just hold down the button (A-D) of the program you want to store the edit for and save it.
I'm not 100% sure about this, but my recollection is that if you make tweaks to Program A in a Set List, you can switch to Program B,C,or D, and when you come back to Program A your tweaks will still be there; you don't lose them until you move do a different Set List location.

Orhpeus, that is correct. I saw that feature in a YouTube demo a few days ago. I believe the edit is lost though after you exit that song. It's a nice feature!

You can change and save A-D from withing Setlist mode. But you need to make programs A-D first! The songs in setlist don't contain any parameters except the program number.

Re: Ep5 Set list
Hi there,
The manual of the 5D61 is not very claer about saving setlists, songs and programs. I have problems with it too. Sometimes my setting are lost sometimes not. When playing in setlist mode (which is ment to store all your programs and settings per song you play or tune on the stage) it should be easy to find back all your settings the next time you play. But how to do this?? I know it is possible!! Can any-one post a good and complete instruction for this? It has something to do with - in the setlist mode - pressing 'store' and simultanuously the buttons 'A' to 'D' (program section in the middle) and you have to notice very good on which program you save your settings.. I am not shure wether it is necessary to make seperate (new) programs with the songname first but probably it is!
I hope we can find out how to do this because my dealer doesn't know how to do this

Re: Ep5 Set list
Your conclusion is exactly right; for every song you first need to make a program containing all instruments and parameters, give it a logical name and store it under a free slot (remember the number). If a song needs more changes (BCD) you need separate programs.
Only then you can make a song in a songlist and connect it with a program or more (per slot A-D). Changes can later be made from the song or in the program. So if during a rehearsal you want to change the song/program on the spot you can do so.
When in Setlist mode you can see the program and instruments by pushing and holding the A-D.
Storing programs or songs is done by pushing A-D /Store, same goes for changes.
Naming songs/programs is done by pushing Shift/Store as and choosing letters from the alfabet with the list/value knob
Sorting Songs/Programs is done by holding Shift/Organise and turning the list/value knob
Easier sorting/renaming/deleting etc. is done thru the Nord Sound Manager software.
I have sorted all my song alphabetically for rehearsal sake and use a setlist program on my tablet during live performance.

Re: Ep5 Set list
Thank you Venro!
Ik vind het het handigst om per song verschillende programs te maken en die dan op te slaan onder de naam van de song met een nummer erachter. Dan kan je bv in de chorus een andere program spelen dan in de verses als je begrijpt wat ik bedoel!
