Hi, I'm new here, I'm testing my new electro 5d 61 and it has made me something strange, sound cuts for no apparent reason. At that time had the nord connected to the sound manager via USB, is it possible for this? Has someone happened to you?
Many thanks and sorry for the translation of google ...

Re: Electro 5D 61 sound cuts
Every Program change received via MIDI cuts the sound, even if you recall the same Program; check that you are not clicking and changing Programs on the Sound Manager

Welcome Bv
The first thing to suspect is your cable connections. Are you using quality cables? Are they pushed all the way into the jacks? Please describe the setup of your keyboard when you are hearing the sound interruption.

I have noticed this too- it's very brief. When I notice it is when I am connected to Sound Manager and am editing patches on the keyboard then play immediately after saving the edited program. What I have guessed is happening is that Sound Manager is updating itself with the newly edited patch information from the keyboard via USB, and that communication pauses the OS on the keyboard for a very brief moment.
Only a guess based on circumstantial evidence, though.

The truth is that I have tried it (long time ...) without being connected to sound manager and I have not noticed anything again, that is for sure.
greetings and thanks

I've also noticed this when connected to my computer via USB, but no other time.
I think it is just something to do with being connected to the USB. I've used the NE5D on loads of gigs now and have never noticed this happen (while not connected via USB).
