Hey All,
I'm bringing my UK Electro 5 back to the states for use. Can somebody provide a link(s) to where I can buy the correct fuse cap most expeditiously? I sent a note to Nord about it but who knows when that reply will come. Time is critical.
Also, does a 115v version of the 300ma fuse exist in 5mm size? I only see 250v.
Many thanks,
Daniel

Re: Electro 5 voltage conversion
Problem solved. Pablo from Nord was very responsive and will be shipping me the parts today. -D

Re: Electro 5 voltage conversion
I'm in the same situation as you, nearly a year later
Just arrived in US from UK with my EU Electro 5. Managed to open it up and flip the voltage selector switch, now just have to swap the fuse. I've seen people say you need a 300mA 250v but I've found a 250mA 250v that will fit without swapping the cap. That should be enough protection, right? Given that the old one was a 125mA (I think) so this would be double, for essentially half the voltage??

Re: Electro 5 voltage conversion
Best to get the right fuse, given that is such an inexpensive item protecting an expensive instrument. The specification is there for a reason.

Re: Electro 5 voltage conversion
250mA is perfectly safe to run, but I'd go ahead and try to find the 300mA of the correct specifications to permanently replace it with.
