Hello everyone, I need some help.
My electro 3 started to trip about two months ago when some piano sounds wouldnt play in the upper octaves anymore, I tried a software update and resetting the library to factory sounds... no luck.
After some trys with formatting the library and reset it, I got the most important sounds working but most of the pianos didnt work. As I was really busy with a job that left me no time to investigate further, I decidet to live with it until I had more time at hand.
However... last time I turned it on the display showed "F.03" during bootup and then "rd" permanently and nothing is working anymore. I feel like a good friend just died.
Can anybody help me please?
best regards
martinez

Re: electro 3 shows "F.03" during boot and then "rd"
Maybe best to contact your local distributor/service. They should be able to tell what the F.03 and rd mean.
I wonder (just guessing, I really have no idea) if the flash ram is giving a reading error.

something wrong with OS
the "rd" message is a signal that the instrument is ready and waiting for an OS load
download the latest OS updater from the Nord website, connect instrument to computer via USB and run the updater program you downloaded
if you are lucky, it will take and you will be back up and running
if you are not lucky, there is a hardware component failure on the mainboard and you will need to have the instrument serviced by someone who knows what they are doing
where are you located?
bless, Pablo

Hello Pablo!
I already tried the Os updater...no success It showed an error message that the latest os is already installed. Sound Manager sais that the OS is not compatible. I gave the keyboard to a technician who will have a look at it.
I´m located in the very west of Austria.

Hi Martinez, I've got the same problem, but on my Electro 4 SW73. It suddenly occurred yesterday. My Electro 4 was turned on all the time and I just turned away from it. When I returned and played, there were weird noises coming from the Electro 4 at first. When I restarted it, the same error message that you described popped up.
Have you had success with your issue?
Best,
André
