Electro 3 displays always show 0.0.

Hello users.
I just bought the Nord Electro 3 on eBay and have problem with it. My nord does not work. When i power it up displays show "0.0." and some of LEDs light pale. Nothing changes when i press buttons. I tried to connect the synth to my PC via USB and it seems to work correctly. Sound Manager could see all the sound loaded to the flash memory, updater could update the OS. I tried to reload everything. I tried to format the flash card. Everything look allright but synth doesn't work. Help me please, cause the official tech support doesn't reply to my second request.
Thank you, guys.

Helo and welcome to the forum.

I'm sorry to hear that your NE3 is not working.
So if I understand you correctly, nothing works? None of the keys make sound? And none of the buttons change anything?

I am not an expert, and I don't own a NE3, so I don't really know too much about it, but it does seem that you need to send it in for repair.

Strange that the official support is not responding. Are you using the one from Clavia? http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?t ... al_support
They have usually responded to me pretty quickly, so maybe you just have to wait a bit and they will respond.

Maybe there are someone here more knowledgeable than me, that have any suggestions?

Thank you for your attention. I solved the problem!
Official support has replied after my second request. They asked for a picture of my not working synth. I sent it. I forgot to tell I switched the power supply from 115V to 230V, cause it was set for USA and there is different voltage in Russia. I tried to power it up and had a problem. Then i bought a step down converter and switched power supply back to 115V. I found the same behavior. Tomas Johansson from support said that it seems that my step down converter does not provide enough power for the Nord. And he told me to call the service center. Authorized service located in another city, so i wanted to solve the problem by myself. I opened the synth and just looked carefully. And i found the problem! The cord form the "motherboard" to the upper board with LEDs was not plugged correctly. I think i accidentaly unplugged it when i open the synth. I pushed it back to the slot and voila!

Do you know how to make someone happy? You need to make things worse than it supposed to be and then turn it back. So now i am happy. :)

That's great!!!
Sorry that I couldn't be of more help, but great that you fixed it yourself.
Now you can enjoy the awesome keyboard.

Have fun.
