I use a Behringer FCV100 pedal for volume. Cheap and I think it's a good pedal. Plus I already had it for some reason.... I think I bought it as an electric guitar volume pedal. For that it's 100% useless! But for CV-control stuff like volume on the NE3 I actually find it very nice.

Sustain. Use what ever you like. It's all about what you are used to. I used a BOSS FS-5U for some time. X-mas came along and I had to wish for something. My wife bought me a Fatar VFP1-25. Nice pedal - and so thought my wife. Now I have the Yamaha FC5 that she used to have.... But hey - it's light to carry around!

I have a QSC K8 and a QSC K12. Both are excellent choices and the K8 is very portable. I actually mounted the K8 in my road rack and use it for a stage monitor. The K12 is heavier (still can carry it with one hand) so it stays at home to use for practice.

I got the Lucas Smart system on a recomandation of another player (professional) and he is endorsed by Clavia.
I am very very happy with it, and specially with the piano sounds which tend to be difficult on many systems.
