Effect amount knob on Electro 5D?

Postby robsputin » 12 Jun 2015, 05:12

Hello,

I've used an original Nord Stage 73 for years, and just picked up a new Electro 5D 73 yesterday so I could utilized the updated organ modeling and the sample section. However, I noticed that there is no knob on the electro to adjust the effect level, only the rate. Is this adjustable in another way that I'm missing, or is there simply a standard amount of effect applied to each sound? That would be pretty unfortunate.

Thanks for the help!

For EFFECT 2, there is a DEEP switch, which allows you to alter the effect depth between normal and deep.

EFFECT 1 has the option of using a footpedal for control, but exactly what it affects for each effect isn't mentioned in the manual, although the Wah control should be pretty obvious. Don't have an E5 obviously, but perhaps the PAN 1,2 and the TREM 1,2 offer different depths of effect?

RedLeo is correct. Each effect with two parameters (trem1, trem2, etc.) Has three intensities with one, two, or both (most intense) led's lit. A control pedal can control the depth of effect from no effect to each effects maximum intensity. Also the wah and ring modulator can be controlled by the control pedal. Hope this helps!

It would be also very useful to control the amount of RM effect, not only the rate how it was on the Electro 2. As I understood it's not possible now on Electro 5?
