Over the past nearly year since I bought a 5D, I have read on various f0rums about the "best" Leslie to use. Now I am looking back and cant find them. Typical for me, the dork. So.....
Is there a better tweaking for using when playing in a 5 pc mostly Classic Rock band?
Never having had a real Leslie, all these comments are very helpful. Thanks in advance!

Re: E5d....Better Leslie tweak for gigging?
The conventional wisdom, which I agree with, is that the 122 Close setting sounds best.
There are also parameters you can play with in the sound menu that affect the Leslie effect sound- acceleration, speed. (each for rotor and horn independently) and balance between the rotor and horn. Season to taste.

To be honest, I've never played with the other parameters, my feeling was that the factory settings were good....And my memories of my old Leslie 147 are too old for me to remember anyway....

Agree on the 122 close. The factory setting is 122. When I first got mine I was hoping to replace the Nord Vent I used for years with my Electro 3. I was disappointed until I did some research and saw that the 122 close was recommended. One of those night and day differences to me. Once I switched to the 122 close, I boxed up the Vent.
