E5 Hammond B3 percussive attack inhibited?
I am new to both the Nord Electro 5 and the Hammond B-3. I love the percussive attack, but notice that if any key is already pressed, the percussive attack is inhibited. In other words, you only get percussion on a solo key-press. I find that limiting. Is there a way to make the perc sound on every key, regardless of other keys held down? (Pls, don't suggest split keyboard as a solution -- too complicated).

Re: E5 Hammond B3 percussive attack inhibited?
Thanks. I'm playing Henry Mancini's "Mr. Lucky", in which I'm using right-hand 4-note cluster chords with the top note as the melody, and left hand doing a bass line. The percussion on the every melody note is desired, but it's inhibited by pressing the chord simultaneously. I tried leaving tiny gaps to re-enable the percussive attack, but that breaks up the smooth flow and feel.
I'm going to try a workaround where I have to punt on the bass part, split the keyboard, and split the right-hand up into a 2-hand pattern.
Just the melody note on the upper part (percussion attack ON), and the 3-note comp on the lower part (percussion attack OFF).
Can anyone think of another way to solve this with the emulated B-3? I'm guessing you would use the two keyboards on a real Hammond the way
I suggested to split the E5 keybd?

Here is a way: sample the sound you like with and without percussion, then make a nsmp file so you can control which key range has the percussion samples by loading them into different places.

Right. It was also possible to get devices that would make the percussion multi-trigger, but that's not typically what you'd find.
