Can the Electro5 receive pitch bend/modulation MIDI msgs. from external controllers so equipped to alter pitch, for example, on an Electro5 voice?

I believe it can, on upper level only, when playing samples (not piano or organ). Search the forum, been discussed from time to time.

PB: yes, MOD: no. Modulation is meaningless without being mapped to parameter and this is not possible. The Nord manual describes setup for pitch bend of Part Upper, including detailed diagram on how to set it up and what settings to use.

I could not find the word "bend" when I searched the .pdf manual. You can control tremolo (but not vibrato) modulation depth by choosing it as effect 1 and enabling control pedal.

Apologies -- I overstated that. Scenario 3 indeed does outline in detail the procedure, but fails to mention the fact that with OS > v1.20 when feeding midi from remote controller to Nord in Upper Split Mode, the Nord will also respond to PB.
