My current gig is with a blues rock outfit where I play the basics- mostly organ and rhodes with the occasional clav or acoustic piano. Most of the time, one keyboard/sound is fine. However, sometimes it would be really nice to have a second board for whatever reason. I've been leaving the Hammond xk3-c at home (so heavy) and just running with the electro 5d 61 all by itself.

With the new stage 3, my first thought was YES! But then after looking more closely at it (and the price tag) I thought that what I really would like is the 73 key version of the electro 5d added to my 61. And then I thought...seriously? Who gigs with two of the same keyboard?

Am I nuts?

A lot of people...First those who want two different key feelings. Those also who have the needs for a second manual because even with the split, they cannot do it with the 5D...As soon as it match your needs, it's fine...
