Allman organ sound

Postby Payback1 » 04 Jul 2017, 14:42

PlAying an E5D. Still looking for that famous Greg Allman full throated sound. Play in a classic Rock band doing a lot of Allmans and Santana. Not much solo work just hanging chords . What preset is a good one to start tweaking? If you could add presets and chorus vibrato settings, much appreciated

Just get the vibrato set right and fiddle with the drawbars til you get something you like. You need to know how to do that anyway.

Start with the lower even numbers.

Somewhat analogous to eq.

@BuckW: +1!! I still use that kind of chart anytime I work on a song and it's loaded into my C2 on a per song basis but at the end, I change a lot the drawbars settings during the song (I have two Ocean Beach Controllers on the C2...). So playing with Drawbars will help a lot to quickly understand at the end what kind of settings you like....
