Hello, and thanks to anyone prepared to read and respond to this.
I am shortly going abroad to play a live gig on an NE3, but have been lent a Stage to muck about on before I go. One thing you don't seem to be able to do on the Stage is to change the type of organ you want to use on panel A/B. In other words, if you choose a B3 for your sound on panel A, you cannot use a V or F-type on panel B, on the same program.
Is this right, and if so, is it the same on the NE3?
Or am I not understanding something?
Best wishes all
Tim

Re: A/B can't change organ type?
Hello curonianspit,
Welcome to the forum!
That is correct.
In addition,
The NE3 is monotimbral and will only do one type of sound "piano, organ, sample" at a time.
While you can have two different drawbar registrations split on the NE3, they both have to be the same organ model.
I had never tried having two different organ models on my Stage before, I had to test that out before responding.
I've learned something new about my instrument, thanks for that.
Cheers, Hanon
