Hi, guys

I happen to be lucky enough to have Nord Drum and do have
question about this device -
I would like to use it together with Roland TD4 digital drum kit to be able
to connect few more drum pads and use it via MIDI interface in EZ Drummer 2. I do not want to add more devices, such as mixer, second sound card etc.

I have only one MIDI IN and MIDI OUT on my interface, so I figured, since
Module of TD4 has only MIDI OUT I could practically connect to MIDI IN to
Nord Drum and obviously to MIDI into the interface from the Nord Drum.
I have tried to do it and looked for solution in the manual but no luck, modules do not work together.
I wonder if it is actually possible and if it is, how can I make it work?

Hi Vadim!

The MIDI notes coming from your TD4 are not passed on to the MIDI out of your ND, it doesn't have a MIDI thru functionality.
If your only goal is to play EZ drummer with all the pads connected to both ND and TD4 you'll either need a MIDI merger or get more MIDI inputs on your computer or find a single drum brain with enough pad inputs..
