I've been digging through the forums and can't find what must be a simple answer.
I've hooked up my iPad to the P3 with an iConnect MIDI1. Using Nord Beat 3, I have successfully saved a sequence. However, when I load it, it defaults back to kit A1. How do I save a program change so that when I load this sequence it also selects the right kit?
Thank you!

Re: Nord Beat 3 and Nord Drum P3 - how to save kit with sequ
Hi estnyboer!
When you save a song, you can select the program number,
If you open the app or load another song, the app will ask if you want it to change the program..
Cheers,
Albert

Hmmm... Ok I will look more closely at the save process - I didn't see how the program numbers (all labeled with a "P") correspond with the drumkit numbers (E 2, F 14, etc).

Hi,
That is how program numbers ‘kits’ are displayed on the Nord drum2, P stands for program.
I quickly checked the manual and update history of the 3P, since OS version 1.24 there are 8 banks (A-H), with 50 kits each. The ND2 also has 8 banks of 50 programs, displayed as P1.01 through P8.50.
So, I bet that if you want the app to use kit E.02 on your 3P, you have to select P5.02 when you’re saving the song..And F.14 is P6.14 etc.
Cheers,
Albert

Albert,
Thank you so much. That is exactly what I was going to try. I will report back.
