ND2 not saving midi notes learned when powering off

Hey all, I just picked up a Social Entropy Engine to sequence my ND2 (and other stuff) and I'm running to an issue where I'm losing the settings for the midi note learn on the ND2. I can go through each drum channel n the nord and use the LRN function and everything works fine for the session. Every time I power off and back on, I have to go back in and re learn all of the midi note ins on each channel on the nord 9very tedious). The nord had been sitting for awhile but I could have sworn that doing the learn function would automatically save those settings as the defaults upon powering up.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious but I could not find in the manual where it mentions anything about doing a save when adjust the midi note settings. Thanks for any help!

Hi metalfalcon!

I tested it with mine, it works as expected, but only if I press EXIT after learning the note,
if I don't press EXIT before powering down, the note is not stored...

Btw.. the Social Entropy Engine looks like a sturdy and versatile hardware sequencer!

Thanks! That works(hitting exit). The engine is a lot of fun. It plays very nicely with the ND2 and the rest of my gear.

Hi guys,

I just got an engine as well but I can't get it to work with my nord drum 2. Lets say I'm on track 4 midi channel 1-10. Now on the nord drum I set the first input channel to 10, global on. Just nothing

Any help is appreciated! Thanks
