Hi all!
New ND2 owner. Don't know why I waited so long! The thing is awesome to play!
I must be doing something wrong... I'm routing midi out into my PC so I can mess with the midi notes and then send them back. Works great. However, when I have local control on ND2 module set to off (to avoid double triggering) it seems that the ND2 unit will not change programs now.
Is there some setting I'm missing that will disable local control of notes, but retain local control for everything else?

Re: ND2: MIDI: Local Control=off turns off ability to change
Hi Drumunkey,
It puzzles me.. Just to be sure: You can only change the program on the ND2 if you see the program number in the display eg: P1.1. In case you are editing, you first have to press the Program button before you can dial to another program.
I just checked, I am still able to change the program with the big knob even when Local is off, and my ND2 wasn’t connected to a computer. (So when it comes to program change, Local isn’t really off.) Could you check what happens if you change the MIDI settings for sending/receiving program change ‘PC’ to either send only (‘PC.S’), or receive only (‘PC.r’)? (perhaps if you allow it to both send and receive program changes (‘PC.Sr’), the echos of program changes that it receives via the computer confuses the ND2??)
I also checked if there were any OS updates that had to do with this, but no.

Re: ND2: MIDI: Local Control=off turns off ability to change
It was weird. I had Lo.OF and when I exited MIDI settings to program mode, the knob would not change patches/programs/banks.
I tried PC.sr and CC.sr and no dice. Then late last night I updated to 3.00 (not sure what ver it was before, I got this off Reverb) and now with Lo.OF the knob actually works... So somewhere, somehow, something made it work.
Considering it's country or origin, I blame Loki.

Hi,
good to hear, I was hesitating to ask if you updated to the latest OS, because I found nothing related to this in the update history. Nevermind, you got it working in the end!
Cheers,
Albert
