Hello

I received my Nord Pad today.
All the kits have hihat assigned to channel 3, snare is 2, kick is 1.
I unpack the Nord Pad and realize that channel 3 is on the right and channel 2 on its left.
Is there a way to assign channel 3 to the upper right pad, channel 2 to the upper middle and channel 1 to upper right ?

Hi,

Refer to page 23 in the ND2 manual. Pad layout allows you to configure 4 different layout options under system menu button. Your layout is at 2, change it to 1.

Another way is copy an individual channel, paste it to a preferred channel - then save the program. It's a good idea to make a copy of the untampered program first, paste it to a new location - then do your edits. The reason is that let's say you copy your hi-hat sound then paste it where your floor tom was, you'd be replacing floor tom with hi-hat. By keeping a copy of the program you can recall the original floor tom, copy the channel - then paste it to your new location.
