Wooden Pedal Extensions

Do you guys know anyone who makes wood pedal extensions? I've been using the Roland PK-5 (or sometimes XPK-100), and those pedals are not long enough to do the heel-toe technique. I saw some guys have those midi pedals (including the studiologic one) with the wood pedal extensions. They look long enough to do the heel-toe technique. I'm desperately looking for those extensions, so I can play comfortably with my PK-5. (By the way, I'm not that handy to make those extension myself...)

I made my own. "just" a piece of wood.
25 cm total key lenght should work

What kind of wood did you use? Did you sand the corner of the wooden keys? How did you make them?

I made an addition to my pk27 and have been very happy with it. I did upgrade to a full AGO pedalboard recently and am trying to sell my extended pk27. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I've already got the Pedal Key 27 and the full size pedal. I'm just looking for a one octive pedalboard which has longer wooden pedals. Non of the companies makes it, so I would very much like to have a one octive midi pedalboard with longer pedals for gigs.

I have a Fatar studiologic MP-117, which is 17 keys up to E. They also make a one octave version (MP-113). The original short wooden "white" keys are hold in place on a metal base by two screws. Easy to replace with something similar, but longer. Whether you want to sand down the corners or paint it is up to your personal choice.

I have a router that I rounded the corners with. Sanding would also work.

Hi Hal,
those extensions are not to find as a ready made product anywhere. You have to make them on your own or ask somebody to do it for you.

Thanks guys for the advises. I called a couple of wood makers today, and some of them can make wooden pedals for me. I asked them to cut them by 24mm x 12mm x 20mm. They will make the corners smooth, and it is good since I don't have a router. I will let you know how it goes.

When I was kind of working with Hammond Suzuki and Crumar, I told them to make the one octive pedalboard with longer wooden pedals, but they didn't listen. One octve pedals are smaller and lighter, so it's easy to carry around for gigs. Of course, 17 keys are better, but then you have put a volume pedal on the pedalboard. It gives me extra work because you have to use two bolts to stabilize a volume pedal like Roland and Hammond ones.

My ernie ball volume pedal sits with velcro on the top of the mp117 works fine.
