Michael your setting 50% volume at nord and 50 % at leslie volume with tubes at 55-60% nearly explode My windows that is really high volume.
Is it imponerat to have the tubes off when starting up the leslie?

Re: Using a C2 with a Leslie 3300
lol! Maybe too much Rock and Roll!! Well I did say "up to 50%" on the C2! And I am using the expression pedal. I am not aware of needing the tubes off when starting the Leslie. If that is a an issue, I would like to know also. Cheers Mike

The manual says always start the leslie up with the tube drive off and volume at 3.

Just remember to baby that Motion Sound as they are out of business and there are no parts around for them. I have a Motion Sound Pro 145 and I broke one of the handles off. it was a heck of a hunt to find one and that was through a handle manufacturer.

Re: Using a C2 with a Leslie 3300
I belong to a masonic lodge as organist and also to a masonic police club that goes around my state putting on the third degree on law enforcement personnel that are masons. I need to know is there a way to give me the pipe organ sound from a Motion Sound Pro 145 rotary speaker plugged into the 1/4 in high power output. I know I can get B3 sound from this output and it sounds great and also is needed for other songs that I do. I am just tryng to avoid hauling a pair of powered pa speakers also with me. I use a Nord C2D although my profile says C2. Thanks

Re: Using a C2 with a Leslie 3300
I think Nord may fix this in the future. I have reequested this feature to have the pipe in the high out.
In the mean time you should be able to solve it by using the line outs to the pro 145 and turning off the simulator. I think the pro 145 is fine with line level signals? My pro145 works fine with line level.

Thanks, Just remember baby that pro 145 as the Motion Sound Company has gone out of business and the dealers that I talked to have no parts on hand.

"Just remember to baby that Motion Sound as they are out of business"
Yes, their page is back up, but I cannot get them on the phone, after many tries. The "belts" used in Motion Sound rotary are actually long O-rings, and I'm pretty sure they can be ordered by length and dia. from O-ring suppliers, some of whom sell single units on the web. The "MS1.2 diaphragm" ("Stock Eminence diaphragms will quickly fail") is another story. Have no idea what to do about that. If I find a supplier for the O-ring belts, I'll certainly let the forum know.
A very knowledgeable friend of mine (30 years in the electronics/communications field) once opened my Pro-3x up to repair it, and exclaimed: "That's not a manufactured product, that's a science project!" But on the other hand, they are extremely repairable, because of their very conventional, old fashioned circuit-board-and-component build. The story of that blow-up and repair is on the "Funny Story" thread here.
But of course, all us Motion Sound guys can do is look at you Leslie 3300 guys and try to keep our envy under control. To me, Motion Sound is better than sim. but it's nowhere as sweet as a Leslie.
